Abstract
This study investigates how social media platforms such as Instagram have grown in popularity for advertising as a result of technological and social media advancements. The users, viewers, and goals of social media platforms have changed dramatically over the last decade as their popularity has grown. Social media networks collect information and data from their massive user base. As a result, regardless of language or nation, brands can communicate with clients from all over the world. Instagram will have one billion users by 2023. Well-known global corporations use Instagram in their advertising efforts due to its high user engagement rate and emphasis on visual material. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Instagram advertising and Indian pet owners’ purchase intent. Instagram and the companies’ marketing techniques persuade pet owners to buy their items. The study focuses on analyzing this data qualitatively, identifying the firms’ marketing techniques, and determining how Instagram motivates pet owners to purchase the companies’ items.
